Every World Cup since 1998
Eight tournaments, 74 nations and 272 squads mean you can blend generations that never shared a pitch. Draft the Brazil 2002 front line of Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho, Zidane's France, the Spain 2010 midfield of Xavi and Iniesta, Maradona-era heirs, or today's Mbappé, Bellingham, Yamal and Haaland. How far can your XI go?
Your tournament finish is decided by the strength of your starting eleven. The scoring is deliberately demanding:
- Group stage — where most quickly-thrown-together sides bow out.
- Round of 16 & quarter-finals — you need a genuinely good team, drafted with care, to reach the knockouts.
- Semis, final and champions — reserved for an elite XI built from the very best nations. Winning the World Cup is rare, and a perfect run is the ultimate badge.
